Carpenter Bee Traps

Here in western North Carolina in the spring Carpenter Bees become active and can cause damage to the wooden parts of your home. Our traps invite and trap these invasive insects.
 
The CWW Carpenter Bee Traps use un-treated wood, a removable glass collection jar, and the needed hardware to hang the trap. 9" Tall x 3.5" Square.
 
Carpenter bees make nests by tunneling into wood. They vibrate their bodies as they rasp their mandibles against hard wood, each nest having a single entrance which may have many adjacent tunnels. The entrance is often a perfectly circular hole measuring about 16 mm (0.63 in) on the underside of a beam, bench, or tree limb.
